Messenger Driver, Transfer Center

AS THE MESSENGER DRIVER, you will transport patients safely and efficiently to and from Penn Highlands. Maintains a schedule pertaining to patient transportation and makes daily safety and preventive maintenance checks on van. Converses with patient appropriately while maintaining confidentiality related to cancer center patients and reports any concerns to appropriate personnel. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MUST HAVE HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED
• 5 YEARS SAFE DRIVING RECORD
• VALID PENNSYLVANIA DRIVERS LICENSE, KNOWLEDGE OF GEOGRAPHICAL AREA, QUALITY COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND GOOD REASONING, MUST DEMONSTRATE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE
• HEALTHCARE PROVIDER (CPR) WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF HIRE DATE
• PROFESSIONAL DRIVING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
