What You'll Be Doing
- Operate haul units to transport raw materials safely and efficiently within the quarry
- Perform pre- and post-operational inspections and report equipment issues promptly
- Follow established haul routes, traffic patterns, and safety procedures at all times
- Coordinate with production and plant teams to support daily operational targets
- Maintain clean work areas and contribute to overall site housekeeping and safety
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate large mobile equipment in an industrial setting
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and following standard procedures
- Ability to recognize hazards and adapt to changing site conditions
- Mechanical awareness with the capability to identify equipment concerns
- Reliable attendance and accountability in meeting operational expectations
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
