Perform special duties as assigned. Promote and practice safe work habits while performing basic repairs and services on light, heavy duty, and diesel trucks; road construction and maintenance equipment; hydraulic systems; and electrical components.
How you will contribute:
Diagnose and Repair : Diagnose, repair and complete basic tasks on a variety of equipment types such as tires, brakes, lighting, pumps, and valves. Use basic scan tools to read and clear check engine light codes.
Perform Manual Labor : Prepare, process, and maintain required maintenance and repair documentation. Generate documents and work orders in computer system. Perform time and leave entry in appropriate systems.
Perform duties as assigned. :
Preventative Maintenance : Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment according to the preventative maintenance schedule and guidelines.

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to perform manual labor.
Ability to record and maintain data in computer systems.
Knowledge of general shop procedures.
Skill in the use of computers for research, navigation, and communication.

Additional Considerations:
A combination of training, experience, or education in Equipment Repair, Auto Repair, or related field desired.
Knowledge of general welding practices.
Knowledge of laptop and/or hand-held diagnostic programs.
