The Role and Impact
Join us as a System Software Engineering Undergraduate Intern, where you will contribute to the development and optimization of cutting-edge system software across various layers of the software stack, including firmware, drivers, operating systems, and middleware. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and validation of system software for Intel platforms.
  • Contribute to the optimization of cross-stack software and participate in debugging system-level issues.
  • Engage in prototyping, proof-of-concept designs, and software modeling activities.
  • Support the development of reference platforms for specific domains and market segments.
  • Learn and apply principles of disciplined execution to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Explore opportunities to innovate using 3D graphics and SW-HW full-stack debugging techniques.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of programming languages such as C or C++.
  • Familiarity with Linux or Windows operating systems.
  • Basic understanding of computer architecture and software development processes.
  • Interest in problem-solving and debugging software-related issues.
  • Exposure to 3D graphics and GPGPU pipelines or API standards like OpenCL, Vulkan, or OpenGL.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English


Preferred Qualifications

  • Practical knowledge of scripting languages such as Python.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating system architecture and device driver models.
  • Personal interest in areas such as AI, game development, or computer graphics.
  • Strong desire and ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry.

The minimum Annual Salary for this job which could be performed in Poland is: 68 880,00 zł The job posting reflects the minimum base compensation for this role. Our standard internship rates are aligned with the specific job role and degree level. As part of our total compensation approach, the final offer may also include additional pay components and benefits. Your recruiting team will provide the confirmed base salary along with any applicable total compensation elements upon employment offer delivery.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
