Primary Duties
· Clean all rooms on allocation list starting with vacant dirty Arrivals followed by occupied service and then vacuum corridor at the end shift, and any other duties instructed by the Team Leader or a Shift Leader.
· Ensure that any lost and found items are logged with housekeeping valet as per the standard and procedure.
· Keep housekeeping trolleys tidy and move trolley to end of corridor at completion of shift.
· Report any repairs and maintenance work that needs to be done in the rooms, corridors and service areas.
·· Ensure that all bedspreads, blankets and mattress protectors are changed or cleaned on a regular basis.
· Fill out rooming list allocation sheet throughout the day.
· Report to level leader any room allocations that have not been completed.
· Be aware of all hotel facilities and services and local points of interest.
· Co-operate with level leaders, room attendants, Supervisors and turndown attendants when required.
· Ensure that your work area is kept clean at all times.
· Show due care of all equipment, report maintenance issues to supervisor.
· Report and/or take action on any equipment breakdown or safety issue relevant to your work area.
