WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage and grow an assigned client portfolio across a single APAC market, driving client retention, implementation strategy, and premium product/service sales
- Handle inbound client queries via phone and email, addressing account-related needs and concerns with prompt, professional responses
- Proactively engage with clients using a consultative approach to build strong relationships, provide insights, and recommend solutions that align with their travel program objectives
- Manage client escalations by collaborating with servicing and support teams to understand issues, communicate resolutions, and ensure successful closure
- Analyze client needs, assess profitability opportunities, and recommend strategic improvements to enhance client value and AMEX GBT revenue
- Lead client implementations and de-implementations; manage communications with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams (Operations, Supplier Relations, Sales)
- Conduct phone and web-based presentations, travel forums, and training sessions; maintain SFDC and relevant databases with accurate, up-to-date information
- Manage ad-hoc reporting requests, implement and maintain PET and insights reports, and consult clients on MI hierarchy, UDID, CAP profiles, and GSI overlays
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree with proven track record of success in client relationship management, services delivery, and solutions that increased client revenue and profitability
- Advanced Excel proficiency and strong financial acumen; demonstrated ability to analyze P&L, identify profitability drivers, and leverage data for strategic decisions
- Proven innovative problem-solving and decision-making skills with ability to handle objections, prioritize effectively, and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate product value propositions clearly across diverse audiences and contexts
- Travel operations knowledge and familiarity with GBT tools, products, and systems (SFDC, PET, insights reporting)
- Strong ability to build and maintain comprehensive networks both internally and externally; skilled at navigating matrix structures and cross-functional collaboration
- High energy, professional maturity, resilience, and demonstrated leadership capabilities with natural drive to succeed in a team-based environment
- Quick learner with ability to rapidly understand and apply key product knowledge; adaptable and proactive with strong interpersonal skills and customer-focused mindset
