JOB SUMMARY
Provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department in delivering HR services in accordance with Marriott International policies, brand standards, and applicable labor laws. Assists management and associates with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, payroll support, and employee relations matters while ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and service excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Assists managers and supervisors throughout the hiring process and addresses operational hiring issues.
- Coordinates pre-employment checks including reference checks, background screening, drug testing, and required verifications.
- Communicates employment offer requirements and coordinates necessary documentation for employment eligibility verification.
- Provides guidance to new associates on HR policies, procedures, systems, and programs.
- Supports payroll processing activities and maintains payroll records in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality and security of all HR and associate records.
- Prepares HR correspondence, reports, and data extracts as required.
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma / Degree Holder in Hotel Management / Human Resources
- Minimum 3 years of relevant Human Resources or administrative experience
- Effective communication and listening skills
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Well-organized, details minded and strong administrative skills
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and HR systems)
