Opportunity – Key Responsibilities
What you will do:
- Support the Indirect Procurement function for Brazil, while also handling specific strategic projects in other countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and Chile.
- Support all local category management execution.
- Provide support in the deployment of fit-for-purpose operational guidelines, standards, processes.
- Drive independently tendering projects, align with key stakeholders.
- Participate to Global Strategy review & Platform Growth initiative program.
- Support end-to-end RFPs, negotiation, contracts, saving tracking.
- Support in the creation of Global/Regional/local Preferred Vendor List to support the category strategy.
- Support in the contract negotiations with vendors – link with Legal and stakeholders to execute compliant contracts.
- Analyse spend data to support the category strategy.
- Support on regional & global strategy execution.
- Contribute to the definition of the cost reduction objectives for her/his categories.
Your main tasks:
Category Execution
- Execute local contracts implementation.
- Drive increased efficiency throughout the domain by reducing costs, risk, and/or enhancing value from suppliers.
Business Partnering
- Ensure continuous procurement connection with relevant Business Partners/Global Procurement team and stakeholders to provide category direction and influence relevant strategy and decisions in the market using appropriate tools and templates.
- Establish relationships with stakeholders to integrate category plans and outcomes in budgets and price planning processes as required.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Support the supplier sourcing process.
- Support the negotiations with key suppliers and leveraging global volume.
- Develop and manage key strategic supplier partnerships including Performance (BRM), Contract management, Negotiation.
- Conduct bidding and negotiations (RFX/e-Sourcing) with suppliers to reduce cost and ensure an open, transparent, and objective process is used to award contracts.
- Contract and negotiate with suppliers.
Productivity & Saving
- Execute the global/local funnel of strategic opportunities aligned with category insights and regional requirements with all evidence.
- Support on a three-year visibility on Cost Improvement & Efficiency programs development and find initiatives by identifying savings levers (internal and external) such as:
- Demand management: need identification, process effectiveness.
- Market leverage (vendor panel optimization, globalization…): value added relationship.
- Understand the feedstock and cost drivers of his/her category and anticipate international markets trends.
KPIs
- Productivity/Savings or negotiation: Build and propose budget that support Galderma’s financials.
- Supplier performance dashboard: Measure and communicate KPIs and related actions plan to enhance supplier performance in terms of technology, quality, responsiveness, delivery, cost and ethics & compliance.
- Contract Coverage.
- Ecovadis compliance (supplier qualification program).
- PO compliance
- Supplier number right-sizing program
Knowledge and Skills:
- 3 to 6 years’ experience, in an industrial or Pharma, Medical device, FMCG company where the Procurement function is mature, performing and seen as strategic sourcing partner.
- International experience within Latin America countries (must)
- Pharma/regulated environment experience is a plus
- Highly proficient with MS Office Suite, including Excel.
- Entrepreneur & Pro-active.
- Excellent negotiation skills, independent, motivated, and self-driven
- Excellent analytical skills – be able to interpret data to support strategy
- Excellent strategic thinking skills combined with strong critical thinking skills
- Experience in working in complex matrix organizations
- Compelling and persuasive communicator (oral and written) with excellent interpersonal skills and a high acumen to identify/assess business and financial opportunities with ability to motivate teams to produce superior results
- Ability to influence both suppliers and internal/external stakeholders, and to lead impacting, and recognized as such, sourcing projects.
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
Fluent in English (required)
Advanced Spanish (preferred)
