Gerente de Riesgos, Ambiente, Seguridad y Salud (RESH Manager)
This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving the site's Risk, Environment, Safety and Health (RESH) strategy, ensuring legal compliance, strengthening our safety culture, and supporting operational excellence through the implementation of world-class safety and environmental practices.
What You Will Do
Lead and continuously develop the site's Risk, Environment, Safety and Health strategy.
Champion Essity's I Care Journey and foster a strong safety-first culture across the organization.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the Site Leadership Team on all RESH matters.
Establish safety and environmental objectives, targets, and action plans.
Ensure compliance with local legislation, corporate standards, and the RESH Framework.
Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, safety audits, and environmental reviews.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve policies, procedures, and training programs related to safety, health, and environmental management.
Collaborate with regional and global RESH teams to deploy best practices and corporate initiatives.
Provide visible leadership on the shop floor and partner closely with operations teams to drive cultural transformation.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of safety and environmental professionals.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Management, or a related discipline. Engineering backgrounds are highly valued.
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in Risk, Environment, Safety and Health management.
Demonstrated experience leading safety programs, compliance initiatives, audits, and incident investigations.
Advanced conversational English.
Strategic thinking and change leadership.
Strong people leadership and influencing skills.
Stakeholder management and business partnering.
Decision-making and advanced problem-solving capabilities
and global stakeholders.
