Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

 

We are currently seeking to recruit Demi Chefs for various sections including Breakfast, A la Carte, Larder and Sauce as well as for the resort’s outlets.

 

The main function of the Demi Chef de Partie is to assist in the supervision of the assigned section in order to prepare and provide high quality food, whilst ensuring that hotel standards are achieved and maintained. Together with the Chef Tournant/Chef de Partie, successful candidates will supervise and and support the junior members of the team. The chosen candidates will also work closely with other team members to maintain a harmonious kitchen environment, fostering open communication and cooperation to achieve culinary objectives. 

 


Ideally, applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • In possession of Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts/Food Preparation & Production
  • Minimum of one year work experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work under pressure 
  • Willingness to learn and a passion for food and developing own culinary skills
