Description:
The Director of Medical Information is responsible for the strategic leadership, development, and operational execution of the Medical Information function at DBV Technologies. This role ensures the accurate, compliant, and timely communication of scientific and clinical information regarding DBV’s epicutaneous immunotherapy (EPIT) platform to healthcare professionals, patients, and other external stakeholders. The Director serves as the primary subject matter expert for the dissemination of medical knowledge and ensures all activities comply with global regulatory standards.
Location: Warren, New Jersey - 3 + days on site
Salary Range: 190-210K
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive global medical information strategy to support launch and lifecycle of the VIASKIN® Patch platform
Oversee the development of high-quality, evidence-based responses for global inquiries
Establish and manage the infrastructure for intake, tracking, and reporting of medical inquiries, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of information
Analyze medical information trends to provide actionable insights to Internal Stakeholders (Medical, Commercial, Clinical, and Regulatory teams)
Supervise external medical information vendors to ensure operational excellence and adherence to DBV’s quality standards
Contribute to other Medical Affairs and company projects, as needed
Qualifications:
Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, or MD) is required
Expertise in immunology, allergy, or pediatric medicine preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry in a medical information position
Proven track record of supporting a product through a launch phase is a significant plus
Comprehensive understanding of FDA regulations governing the communication of medical and scientific data
Advanced ability to analyze complex clinical trial results and translate them into concise, evidence-based responses
Strict adherence to PhRMA guidelines and international codes of practice (e.g., IFPMA)
Highly developed technical writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse scientific and non-scientific audiences
