Project Lead, Impact Strategy and Partnerships
This unique and exciting role is in the Office of the CEO and part of the Narrative and Impact Team. It is a high-impact relationship and project management role responsible for driving the philanthropic coordination, project and relationship engagement, financial and procurement process, and event operations that enable Salesforce's executive leadership to execute on the company's most strategic corporate giving priorities and external partnerships. Reporting to the VP, Chief of Strategic Relationships, this individual is a trusted operational partner who brings rigor, innovation, strategy, and a pro-active energy to a fast-moving, high-visibility environment.
Responsibilities:
Corporate Partnerships & Philanthropy Operations
Manage a portfolio of high-profile corporate sponsorships, donations, and philanthropic partnerships, end-to-end — including procurement, compliance, stakeholder communications, and relationships.
Work closely with strategic partners, serving as the primary internal liaison between the OoCEO, internal and external partner organizations, and cross-functional teams across the company.
Track and report on partnership charitable contribution milestones, impact, and event engagement — ensuring accurate reconciliation through our internal SH360 instance.
Manage and support high level partnerships that provide employee and partner experiences and programming, managing event logistics, communications, and on-site execution across multiple events.
Negotiate and manage strategic membership on behalf of OoCEO, coordinating with external organizations and internal stakeholders to maximize engagement and impact.
Event Planning & Executive Engagement
Produce and execute a high-volume calendar of corporate philanthropy and stakeholder events — including galas, check presentations, roundtables, and executive convenings — managing speakers, creative assets, guest lists, and REWS coordination end to end
Partner with the philanthropy team to manage mutual grantee relationships, coordinate and execute giving announcements tied to corporate partnership milestones
Support large-scale employee volunteer events, coordinating across departments to maximize participation and VTO impact
Provide white glove support to VIP executives, advisors, and partners
Financial Operations & Budget Management
Own end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes for corporate donations and sponsorships, including Purchase Order creation, Coupa/MPC processing, invoice submission, and payment tracking across a high-volume portfolio of concurrent engagements
Partner with internal finance partners, and accounts payable to track and reconcile a large-scale philanthropy and sponsorship portfolio, and expedite invoice processing and resolve payment issues
Vendor & Supplier Management
Serve as primary POC for all new supplier onboarding — managing NDA routing, DocuSign processing, Purchaseforce submissions, commodity code verification
Navigate complex compliance requirements including SMCA waivers, international supplier onboarding, and specialized tax form processing
Manage multiple concurrent procurement cases across Legal, Procurement Ops, Finance, and HR — active escalations as needed
Operational Strategy & Innovation
Ensure proper vetting and compliance issues are met for all fund recipients.
Stay on top of new applications, bots, agents, and other innovation tools
Understand and implement the complex processes, compliance and ethics requirements, and legal guidelines related to the management of corporate sponsorships, donations and partnerships.
Work within our internal instance, SH360, for reporting, tracking, and data collection
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate philanthropy, project management, operations, and event engagement — preferably in a fast-paced corporate or executive office environment
Excellent people skills, enthusiastic approach to partnership relationships, and ability to pivot gracefully
Strong command of Procure-to-Pay processes and procurement tools (Coupa, MPC, Purchaseforce, Fieldglass/StaffUp)
Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and compliance requirements across multiple concurrent workstreams
Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interfacing with senior executives and external partners
Experience with V2MOM, CRM tools, and AI platforms a plus
