Piping Inspector for OSBL Services
Job Description
- ASME B31.4 certified or have comprehensive knowledge and experience of 10 years in process piping outside battery limit inspection at refineries or petrochemical plants.
- Shall have sound knowledge of related pipeline construction and inspection codes.
- Good knowledge of pipeline components including fittings, flanges, valves, and associated piping hardware.
- Shall witness fit-ups and perform visual examination of all pipeline welding activities.
- Shall coordinate with NDE examiners for radiography, ultrasonic, and penetrant testing to complete inspection requirements.
- Shall witness hydrostatic pressure testing of pipelines and interpret test results.
- Capable of measuring pipe wall thickness using UT equipment and performing corrosion assessment.
- Shall review and approve welding procedures and welder qualification records applicable to pipeline works.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria:
- ASME B31.4 certification or equivalent knowledge/experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in OSBL pipeline inspection in refinery/petrochemical projects
- Strong understanding of pipeline construction, components, and inspection codes
- Hands-on experience in welding inspection, hydrotesting, and NDE coordination
- Capability to review welding procedures and welder qualification records
- Relevant project experience of O&G (project construction, QA/QC & Commissioning) is mandatory
- Candidate must have valid certificates – copy shall be provided along with CV.
