Job Description

As part of UNICEF’s Future Focus Initiative (FFI), a corporate-wide transformation launched in 2025 to ensure UNICEF remains fit for purpose in an era of declining Official Development Assistance and increasing complexity, the offices in Belize, Jamaica, Guyana & Suriname, and the Eastern Caribbean Area (ECA) are consolidating into a new Caribbean Multi-Country Office — a regional platform combining policy influence, technical depth, and strategic partnerships across 12 countries, designed for systems-level impact and results at scale.

For the transition, a 73-role recruitment campaign will be launched from July 2026, requiring additional support for recruitment and selection processes and UNICEF is seeking a People and Culture professional to join a dynamic team driving one of the most significant P&C transformation processes in the Latin America and Caribbean Region: the consolidation of the new Multi-Country Office for the Caribbean.

The incumbent will implement a prioritized recruitment and selection plan with clear deadlines and deliverables with the main responsibilities of recruitment and selection activities. The P&C Officer will also support specific staff support interventions for staff on abolished position across the Caribbean and will support the drafting and classification of Job Descriptions as required.
