SHIFT SUPERVISOR

A day in the life of a Shift Supervisor at Norris Academy is rarely the same, HARD WORK, EXCITING, IMPACTFUL, and very REWARDING. As a Shift Supervisor at Norris Academy you will be primarily responsible for the daily management and supervisory control of Group Living operations, under the supervision of the Director of Group Living. This is a 100% onsite position. Duties include but are not limited to: • Ensure safety of residents & staff at all times • Provide OJT for new incoming staff • Support and train all staff on de-escalation techniques • Implement and lead large group activities for the residents • Enforce facility rules, policies, and routines, while supervising the milieu staff • Organize transportation of residents to and from appointments and outings
