Job Description
Position Summary:
The position is responsible for utility maintenance and the Paint Shop maintenance. The candidate will handle both breakdown and preventive maintenance activities within the paint shop manufacturing setup. Additionally, the role involves managing spare parts, ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements, and monitoring key maintenance metrics such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) etc.
Work You’ll Do:
Perform maintenance activities for utility maintenance and Paint Shop equipment, including:
Paint booths, Blasting booths, EOT Cranes, Screw compressors, Material handling equipment, Air handling systems, etc.
Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including:GPCB (Gujarat Pollution Control Board) norms, ISO audit standards, and documentation
Prepare and maintain monthly reports, including Management Information System (MIS) reports of MTBF and MTTR analysis of CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action), Root cause analysis (Why-Why analysis) for breakdowns
Monitor paint shop stack emissions as per GPCB requirements
Conduct periodic inspection and maintenance of: Safety devices in gas lines and paint booths, Blowers, and PNG-fired burners
Ensure routine upkeep activities, including: Weekly cleaning of paint booths and blasting booths
Manage procurement-related activities for the paint shop: Vendor identification and quotation requests, defining technical requirements, raising material requisitions in ERP systems, and following up with vendors for timely delivery
Team:
This role will be part of plant maintenance & candidate will work with the plant maintenance team.
Basic Qualifications: 5–7 years of relevant experience in Paint Shop Maintenance. Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / BE Mechanical (preferred)
