Occupational Health Registered Nurse

Summary:
Provides evaluation, direct care, assessment, and referrals utilizing observation and assessment skills, while practicing in accordance with legal parameters, guidelines, and standards for occupational and industrial nursing. Performs relevant testing, which includes but is not limited to drug screens, musculoskeletal evaluations, vision and hearing screening, communicable disease screenings, respiratory fit testing, audiogram testing and phlebotomy. Possesses a working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment Act (ADAAA), and National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) resources, worker's compensation injury and illness initial assessment.

Required - 3 years - Registered Nurse; And - 3 years - Clinical Related.

Additional required specific skills include: communication skills, time management and computer proficiency. Based on hiring volume, work load, special events, and staffing needs, travel to all BayCare Urgent Care locations may be required. Preferred COHN certification. Preferred 2 years Occupational Health Nurse. Possesses a working knowledge of OSHA, ADAAA, and NIOSH resources, worker's compensation injury and illness initial assessment.
