Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Supplier Quality Analyst.
Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.
What you’ll do:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Problem solving based in 8D
B. Production line support
C. Communicate quality issues to suppliers and sister plants
D. Review supplier response to DMR in Wisper system
E. Ask for disposition of non-conforming material to supplier after concluded sorting
F. Prepare reports on parts- supplier performance. Update on time the quality metrics
G. Scrap and Non-conforming material control and apply charge back to supplier due to scrap on quality issues.
H. Responsible for Safe Launch process / Inspection Plan on components.
I. Coordinate the work with the Quality Leaders working in the area.
J. Implements, promotes, and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control, and administer risk and danger in own area.
K. Promotes the company’s vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies.
L. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.
Qualifications:
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE.
A. Bachelor Degree in Engineering
B. 1- 2 years of experience in similar area.
C. Yellow Belt Certification.
D. PC use and office software knowledge
E. IATF 16949:2016, EQMS
F. Good Communication English skills
F. Problem solving methodology (8Ds)
G. MSA, PPAP, Control Plan, AMEF and SPC
H. All areas of inspection such as techniques, principles, procedures and know how.
I. GD & T Intermediate
Skills:
QUALITY FUNTIONAL COMPETENCES
A. Analytical / Statistical Tools & Methods. Knows the basic concepts of problem solving and analytical / statistical techniques, including 8D; Six Sigma; problem definition; basic data collection.
B. Inspection & Testing. Consistent knowledge and use of tools and techniques for measuring systems and devices utilized across a broad range of applications.
Has the ability to perform basic analysis and reporting of inspection and test records.
C. External Requirements. Has a basic knowledge and understanding of National and International Standards (e.g. ISO / AS / TS) and where applicable other Industry related standards including specific customer requirements.

B. Overall success is predicated upon the urgent and immediate action taken when issues arise. It is important that the quality technician has an understanding of the manufacturing process ability to produce a quality part to the control plan requirement.
