Purchasing Buyer

OAI + Rainier by The Look Company, is a manufacturing organization with a long, established history. We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Buyer to manage end-to-end procurement activities and support production across multiple business units. This role ensures timely, cost-effective purchasing while maintaining supplier quality and reliability.   Key Responsibilities Manage purchasing processes: requisitions, purchase orders, confirmations, and deliveries Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing and terms Partner with operations to align purchasing with production schedules and forecasts Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and maintain strong vendor relationships Support inventory management and cost-reduction initiatives Coordinate with internal teams and accounting to ensure accurate purchasing records and payments Identify supply chain risks and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes Qualifications 3–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience (manufacturing preferred) Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills Experience with ERP systems (Epicor a plus) and MS Office Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Knowledge of inventory management, production planning, or demand forecasting preferred CompensationThe full pay range for this position is $30.00 – $38.00 per hour. The target hiring range is $32.00 – $36.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
