Join Lam as an IT Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of designing, analyzing, and implementing applications and systems that form the foundation of our infrastructure. As a crucial member of our IT team, you'll contribute your technical assistance and guidance to projects for various systems and infrastructures. Acting as a technical liaison, you'll address complex business problems with automated systems solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving Lam's commitment to innovation and efficiency.
What you’ll do
- Lead and manage end-to-end change and release processes across complex enterprise environments, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and timely deployments.
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks across processes, tools, and pipelines, leveraging data and AI-driven insights to accelerate delivery and improve stability.
- Design, configure, and maintain ServiceNow Release and Change Management workflows, driving standardization, automation, and governance.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, DevOps, and business teams to streamline release execution and align with business priorities.
- Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and DevSecOps practices to enable faster, safer, and repeatable deployments.
- Analyze release metrics, observability data, and system performance to continuously improve deployment frequency, lead time, and success rates.
- Support and optimize cloud-based and hybrid infrastructure environments (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP) including Linux/Windows systems.
- Integrate and optimize toolchains across ServiceNow, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), and CI/CD platforms.
- Implement security and compliance controls within release and deployment pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Champion a culture of automation-first, continuous improvement, and AI-enabled operations (AIOps).
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor and liaison, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement and communication across teams.
Who we’re looking for
We are seeking a forward-thinking AI-driven Release Manager / IT Engineer who thrives at the intersection of platform engineering, DevOps, and intelligent automation. You are passionate about accelerating delivery, eliminating bottlenecks, and building resilient, scalable release systems.
- 8+ years of experience in Change & Release Management, IT Operations, or DevSecOps within complex enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies across processes, tools, and pipelines, and drive measurable improvements in deployment speed, quality, and reliability.
- Strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow platform setup, configuration, workflows, and ongoing maintenance, with deep understanding of Change and Release Management.
- Solid foundation in infrastructure technologies, including Linux and Windows systems, along with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP).
- Working knowledge of networking and database concepts, supporting highly available and scalable systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
- Experience with Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) and integration into modern DevOps workflows.
- Strong understanding of system design principles, including scalability, resiliency, and performance optimization.
- Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging metrics, observability, and AI/analytics insights to continuously improve release outcomes.
- Comfortable operating in Agile and DevOps environments, with a strong focus on automation-first thinking.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- A continuous learner who embraces emerging technologies, including AI/ML-enabled operations (AIOps), to modernize delivery practices.
Preferred qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, networking fundamentals, and database technologies
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms: Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP
- Experience with Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) and version control systems (Git)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and security/scanning tools
- Solid expertise in ServiceNow (Change Management, Release Management, CMDB)
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies and best practices
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
