Job Description
Location - Macquarie Care & St Catherine's in Bathurst
Casual shifts across both homes
Also - Parental cover until December - Monday + Thursday 0645 - 1300 (both Weeks) & Friday 1430-2030 (Week 1)
Pay rate – $46.30 - $57.50 per hour + superannuation dep on experience

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to work across both of our Bathurst homes as a casual to cover leave and training. Additionally we have limited Parental leave shifts as above.
You need to have at least 3 days work availability and be able to commit to a week of Orientation, training and buddy shifts at the outset.
The casual role is not suitable for new grads. Ideally you will be available to work a minimum of 2 of the 3 shift times i.e Mornings and afternoons or afternoons and nights.
About the Role
Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
Acting as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you’ll need
A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age – related health issues
Strong coaching/training skills
Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Competent IT skills
Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
