
Sr. Associate, Marketing Communications
Job Description
Sr. Associate, Marketing Communications partners with brand teams and cross-functional stakeholders to execute compliant, high-quality marketing initiatives, managing the development of promotional materials from concept through launch. They own project execution end-to-end—driving timelines, coordinating agencies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing campaign performance to support brand strategy and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with marketing brand managers to plan, develop, and execute marketing, advertising, and promotional materials for assigned brands while maintaining project management workflows.
- Support the production and coordination of advertising and promotional materials from concept through launch.
- Manage the execution of marketing initiatives and campaigns, owning deliverables and ensuring alignment with brand strategy, timelines, budgets, and key objectives.
- Develop customer- and patient-facing materials that support the sales team, drive product adoption, and reinforce brand messaging.
- Collaborate with brand, agency, and cross-functional teams to define project scope, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring alignment throughout execution.
- Guide agency partners on design, copy, and content development to ensure high-quality, on-strategy deliverables.
- Manage project timelines, production schedules, and delivery of materials and assets across multiple workstreams.
- Coordinate with agencies and vendors to establish project estimates and ensure seamless execution while managing relationships.
- Own the medical, regulatory, and legal review process for all materials, ensuring compliance with established standards, policies, and claims databases while driving efficiency and consistency.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and ROI optimization.
- Engage sales advisory boards and conduct field testing to gather feedback and drive alignment prior to implementation.
- Manage digital asset hubs, ensuring content availability, relevance, and usability for both internal stakeholders and customers. Oversee ongoing maintenance of digital assets, including updating, re-approving, and archiving materials as needed.
- Deliver performance metrics (e.g., MAL, Pitcher, Professional Media) to marketing partners to ensure alignment with strategy.
- Maintain accurate project tracking and reporting to provide visibility into status and key business metrics.
- Lead professional media planning, including timelines, publication relationships, execution, and ongoing maintenance.
- Serve as business owner for the Literature Ordering Center (LOC), overseeing relationships, maintenance, and operations.
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of print marketing assets, including inventory management.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in promotional material development, project management, and compliance.
- Foster a culture of collaboration by sharing updates, improving transparency, and supporting enterprise-wide marketing initiatives.

- Experience working with Veeva PromoMats, or related software for MAP/PRC/MLR
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- 2 Years of Relevant Experience
