Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day HR operations and labor relations for the assigned workforce, ensuring strict compliance with internal regulations, benefits delivery, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) to foster a positive workplace climate and prevent labor disputes.

 

  • Manage unionized staff headcount/workforce (HC: 500 FTEs)
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of the department's personnel.
  • Monitor turnover and absenteeism metrics, and generate reports to be published by the communications lead.
  • Address employee needs and provide solutions in alignment with organizational guidelines.
  • Administer the Internal Work Regulations and the Collective Bargaining Agreement to prevent labor disputes.
  • Follow up on temporary contracts for newly hired personnel.
  • Manage general conditions like transportation and canteen services, ensuring they meet quality standards and remain cost-effective.
  • Verify that benefits offered by AS are granted accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a close relationship with union representatives to ensure optimal communication channels, preventing and resolving labor conflicts (including attending weekly meetings).
  • Coordinate workplace climate surveys and implement necessary actions to improve staff satisfaction rates.
  • Track and follow up on salary increases for both permanent and temporary staff.
  • Manage employee onboarding and status changes (hires, terminations, and modifications) within company systems.
  • Manage and safeguard personnel files.

Qualifications

Knowledge - Mexican Labor Regulations / Training /Labor Agreements/ Talent Attraction/Payroll/ Employee Engagement, HR Analytics

Education - Bachelor Degree

Experience – 2-5 years of HR experience

Skills and abilities - Assertive Communication & Empathy, Conflict Resolution, Resilience & Adaptability, Proactive Curiosity, Business Acumen

English: B1-B2
