HOSPITALIST Catholic Health(CH) was founded in 1997 to oversee the Diocese of Rockville Centre's healthcare organization, which now includes six hospitals, three nursing homes, a regional home care, and hospice group and a community based agency for persons with special needs. More than 15,000 staff and 3,300 medical professionals work within the CH system. St. Charles Hospital is a 243-bed, acute care community hospital located in Port Jefferson, NY.
