Major Responsibilities
- Implementing data flows to deliver data Magna’s major finance systems
- apply various integration patterns such as CDC, ETL, Event Driven, batch, etc., to maximize reusability and minimize maintenance of the data pipeline
- Setup & maintain the data ingestion into OneStream specific integrations incl. the management of related gateway infrastructure
- Maintain and continuously improve up & downstream integrations to the Finance Data Hub
- Monitor data processing between the various stages within the Finance Data Hub.
- Perform data quality analysis, report data quality issues and propose solutions for data quality management
- Work closely with business analysts, system owners and functional SMEs to gain understanding of business processes and data elements to contribute to architectural decisions and provide efficient support
- Work with Data engineers and BI developers as part of a delivery team for Finance Data Solutions
Knowledge and Education
- Completion of University Degree
Work Experience
- 3 to 5 Years of Work Related Experience
Skills and Competencies Required to Perform the Job
- Minimum 3 years experience in the development of integrations leveraging T-SQL (or PL/SQL), Low-code tools (Talend Studio, Talend CDC, SQL server replication), Cloud native (Azure Data factory and Databricks preferred), Streaming based (Kafka, Data Explorer or equivalent)
- Experience in data modeling methodologies such as temporal and dimensional modeling in classic DWH star or snowflake schemas
- Familiarity with UML diagrams for design and requirements specifications
- Ability to read, interpret, analyze, and communicate effectively verbally and in written form in English
- Nice to have, working knowledge in:
- Accounting (highly valued)
- OneStream Software (highly valued)
- Finance Enterprise Systems (SAP preferred)
