Pyramid Class Special Education Teacher (2026 - 2027)
This vacancy is to create a pool of candidates for vacancies open during for the SY 2026/2027
The Pyramid class provides integrated support to students with significant social and emotional needs. Intensive special education and therapeutic services are provided in a small, structured setting within a general education school. Students have opportunities for inclusion in general education classes with non-disabled peers, as appropriate, and are pursuing a high school diploma.

- 11-month position (207 days/year), 7 hours per day

Salary
11-month Teacher Pay Scale
Under the Fair Labor and Standards Act this position is exempt from overtime. Actual salary placement will be in accordance with the salary procedures of the Frederick County Public School System.
