Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize scalable performance test frameworks and automation solutions
Develop and maintain performance test scripts using k6
Perform frontend performance analysis using Sitespeed.io
Lead performance engineering initiatives across multiple applications and platforms
Analyze application, infrastructure, and frontend performance bottlenecks and provide optimization recommendations
Integrate automated performance validation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
Leverage observability platforms such as Datadog and Grafana to provide deep performance insights
Continuously improve frameworks, tooling, methodologies, dashboards, and reporting standards
Collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, architecture, and product teams to drive performance best practices
Support and contribute to performance engineering initiatives across teams
Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team
Stay ahead of emerging trends in performance engineering, AI-driven observability, and modern testing practices
Drive stakeholder discussions and confidently communicate technical findings, risks, and strategic recommendations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3+ years of experience in Performance Testing or Quality Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter and k6
Experience with frontend performance testing tools such as Sitespeed.io is preferred
Solid understanding of observability platforms including Datadog and Grafana
Experience integrating testing solutions into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
Strong technical understanding of web applications, APIs, distributed systems, and system architecture
Experience identifying performance bottlenecks across frontend, backend, database, and infrastructure layers
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Passion for learning and innovation, with interest in emerging technologies in performance engineering and observability.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
