Manager, Factory Inventory Control and Material Planning
Job Description
NVIDIA has continuously reinvented itself over two decades. Our invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI — the next era of computing. NVIDIA is a “learning machine” that constantly evolves by adapting to new opportunities that are hard to solve, that only we can pursue, and that matter to the world. This is our life’s work, to amplify human creativity and intelligence.
We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and dynamic Factory Inventory Control and Material Planning manager to lead our global inventory control and OSAT material planning team. In this role, you will be responsible for inventory transactions, reconciliation, and material supply chains for our Chip, Boards, and Server business. You will be responsible for leading Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) / Contract Manufacturer (CM) partners across Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore, inventory control and ensuring raw material supply continuity (with a strong focus on substrates), and driving system automation. The ideal candidate possesses a global outlook, outstanding leadership skills, and a proven track record of bringing up new manufacturing sites.
What You Will Be Doing:
Team Leadership & Governance: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Inventory Control and Material Planning team. Develop a culture of high standards, accountability, and teamwork.
OSAT & CM Management: Be responsible for and own inventory control operations at OSAT/ CM partners across Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Drive factory physical audits and scrap audits at subcontractor sites.
Material Supply Monitoring: Support and guide the OSAT Material Planning team to monitor and expedite raw material supply chains, with critical focus on substrate availability and risk mitigation.
Inventory Operations Control: Direct global inventory transactions, reconciliations, aging inventory management, lot split/merge operations, and complex shipment arrangements with subcontractors.
New Site Bring-Up & NPI: Lead the inventory control and reconciliation strategy for new vendor/site bring-ups. Collaborate with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to complete seamless time-to-market plans.
System Automation & Implementation: Drive system automation projects. Be responsible for SAP (S/4HANA) implementations, business flow improvements, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global collaborators and geographical teams to optimize business workflows, improve efficiency, and lead cross-border logistics.
What We Need to See:
Experience: 8+ overall years of related experience in semiconductor inventory control, supply chain planning, or OSAT /CM manufacturing management and 3+ years of management experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
System Expertise: Strong proficiency in SAP - direct experience with SAP S/4HANA is a strong plus.
Language Skills: Professional and proficient English communication skills to foster shared values throughout the global company.
Leadership Traits: Proven people management skills with a global view; a great teammate who is willing to take calculated risks and full responsibility.
Soft Skills: Highly organized, diligent, and structured problem solver with strong quantitative, problem-solving, and social skills.
Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:
Exceptional capability in designing robust inventory audit frameworks and driving end-to-end reconciliation strategies across complex, multi-stage manufacturing flows.
Demonstrated experience in successfully leading complex substrate shortage crises or critical raw material constraints.
Deep expertise in driving large-scale system automation that significantly reduces manual inventory reconciliation.
A strong sense of ownership with a track record of setting high operational standards and transforming ambiguous challenges into structured action plans.
