Junior Mechanical Estimator

The junior estimator is responsible for supporting and assisting the lead or senior estimator in calculating the cost of labor or materials that is required for a construction project or any other manufacturing project. Position will primarily review construction design drawings, gatheering all material and data, to determine scope of work, create and execute detailed quantity take -offs based on project scope, among other assigned tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Detail and deadline-oriented

*Strong analytical and problem solving skills

*Ability to work on multiple projects

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

*Review drawings, specifications, and identify the projects mechanical scope of work.

*Reach out to subcontractors, vendors and request proposals for appropriate scope of work.

*Perform ductwork and piping takeoffs using estimating software.
