Plant Manager

Manage and direct all manufacturing activities in a plant or production process, including production, materials, quality control, and manufacturing engineering, to produce products in the most cost-effective way while meeting shipping requirements and sales commitments. Plant may be a stand-alone facility or a relatively independent unit within a larger site.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Lead all operations at the manufacturing site, ensuring strong performance across People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reliability, and operational efficiency
• Build and develop a high-performing, engaged workforce, fostering a culture of accountability, trust, and continuous learning
• Act as a change agent, promoting innovation, problem-solving, and best practices across all site functions
• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction through effective production planning, scheduling, and service delivery
• Manage financial performance, including cost control, productivity improvements, and inventory optimization
• Partner with regional and global stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Commercial teams
• Define and execute the long-term vision and strategic roadmap for the site
• Ensure full compliance with local regulations, environmental, health & safety (EHS) standards, and internal policies

 

What Makes You the Right Fit

• University degree in Engineering, Industrial, or a related technical field (advanced degree preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in a manufacturing setting
• Experience in food, ingredients, chemical, or similar process industries is preferred
• Strong track record in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
• Solid business and financial acumen, with the ability to translate strategy into operational results
• Experience leading change management and cultural transformation initiatives

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
• Professional working proficiency in English (minimum B2 / Upper Intermediate)

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is an advantage
