Job Description
FlexStaff is seeking an experienced OBGYN Medical Doctor with NYS MD Licensure to join our client outpatient healthcare center that provides primary care, dental, behavioral health, OB/GYN, and other community-based wellness services for their location in Queens, NY.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved medical school
M.D. Licensure in New York State
Board certified or Board eligible in OB/GYN
Minimum of 5 years of Clinical experience in OB/GYN, including at least 2 years in leadership or administrative capacity
Position Highlights:
Provide strategic and clinical leadership for Women’s Health across clinic sites.
Deliver direct patient care
Set clinical standards, drive quality and safety, manage provider performance, optimize access
Partner with Marketing and Community Engagement to expand equitable women’s health services.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Lead OB/GYN service line (prenatal, obstetrics, gynecology, family planning, preventive care) across sites.
Oversee all OB/GYN providers: manage clinic templates, access targets, coverage/on-call and hospital liaison activities.
Ensure high-quality clinical outcomes consistent with HRSA and UDS.
Coordinate multidisciplinary care and expand women’s health services.
Own OB/GYN quality metrics; lead peer review, case conferences, and incident learning.
Maintain compliance with HRSA and other regulations; keep policies and procedures current.
Recruit, onboard, train, evaluate, coach, and manage performance of OB/GYN providers.
Collaborate on staffing models, competencies, and patient-flow efficiency.
Promote patient-centered, trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
Provide full-scope gynecologic care; manage consults and escalate to advanced procedures/surgery via affiliates.
Support maternal health initiatives, perinatal education, outreach, grants, reporting, and new service development.
Perform other duties as required.
