Sr. PM, Network Design BR, BR Speed and Ops Excellence Team
Job Description
Key job responsibilities
1. Define and own the long-term network coverage strategy for Brazil's last-mile operations, determining the optimal delivery model (proprietary stations, extended delivery programs, third-party partnerships, or hybrid models) for each region based on volume density, geographic constraints, and cost-to-serve.
2. Develop analytical frameworks to evaluate network trade-offs across three dimensions: DEA (delivery quality), Speed (transit time and promise accuracy), and Cost (cost-per-package by delivery model and geography). Use these frameworks to recommend network changes that maximize customer experience within cost guardrails.
3. Support network expansion planning — identifying underserved regions, quantifying the customer and business impact of coverage expansion, and building business cases that recommend the right delivery model for each new area based on demand density, infrastructure availability, and long-term growth projections - lways in partnership with related teams and stores.
4. Own the E2E network optimization across all delivery programs, ensuring each program's coverage footprint is designed for optimal cost-speed-quality outcomes rather than operating in silos.
5. Build and maintain network coverage analytics at granular geographic levels (ZIP5/ZIP8), tracking delivery performance, cost variance, speed degradation, and coverage gaps — using data to inform network topology decisions.
6. Drive cross-functional alignment with Last Mile Operations, Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers, Middle Mile, Commercial Carriers, and Volume Planning teams to ensure network design decisions are operationally executable and aligned with capacity planning.
7. Partner with Science and Technology teams to leverage optimization models and tools that inform network design decisions — calibrating global models for Brazilian geography, population density, and infrastructure realities.
8. Build the 3-year network roadmap for Brazil, aligned with OP1/OP2 planning cycles, quantifying investment requirements and expected returns (DEA improvement, speed gains, cost reduction) for each phase of network evolution.
