Strategic Growth Manager – India & South Asia
Position Summary
The Strategic Growth Manager – India & South Asia is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, portfolio expansion, and market penetration across the region. This role partners closely with the General Manager to shape and execute commercial growth strategies across Advanced Staining, Digital Pathology, and other Leica Biosystems portfolios.
The role focuses on identifying growth levers, accelerating funnel conversion, strengthening portfolio adoption, and enabling the commercial organization to deliver above-market performance. The Strategic Growth Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding market presence, unlocking new customer segments, and strengthening strategic partnerships across India & South Asia.
This position is part of the Commercial organization and is based in Bangalore, India.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and execute regional growth strategies aligned with business priorities and revenue targets.
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and expansion areas across India & South Asia.
- Drive portfolio penetration and adoption across Advanced Staining, Digital Pathology, and emerging solutions.
- Drive the adoption of Novocastra Antibodies for IHC Instruments
- Partner with Sales Leaders to strengthen funnel development, improve win rates, and accelerate revenue realization.
- Lead structured Go-to-Market initiatives for new product introductions and strategic portfolio expansions.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, pricing dynamics, and customer insights to inform decision-making.
- Build and manage relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and strategic accounts to support long-term growth.
- Support pricing strategy inputs, segmentation frameworks, and portfolio positioning.
- Drive business reviews with clear growth metrics, ROI tracking, and performance dashboards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with regional and global stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
The essential requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field; MBA preferred.
- Strong understanding of pathology workflows and diagnostics market dynamics.
- 8 years of experience in commercial strategy, business development, portfolio management, or growth-focused roles within MedTech/Diagnostics.
- Demonstrated experience in driving revenue growth initiatives and cross-functional programs.
- Strong analytical capability with ability to translate data into actionable strategy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
- Regional language capability is an advantage.
