We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Production Services Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role is located in Pune.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

• Manage Exadata to ensure maximum uptime, good performance, data security and high availability
• Plan and review backup & recovery policies
• Regular support review meetings with various stakeholders.
• Review reports and initiate corrective action.
• Support Application teams and help resolve various issues and timely completion of jobs.
• Review of database health and initiation of corrective action 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• Engineering Degree in Computer Science with 10 to 12 years of relevant work experience
• Strong knowledge on Databases, Unix & Storage
• Strong knowledge of RMAN, BCV, Archive backups using TSM.
• Extensive experience with Exadata & Engineered systems
• Experience with Oracle 19c/26AI and Installation, Administration, Monitoring, Patching, Upgrade, Backup and Recovery
• Working in compliance with processes like SOX processes, Quality Analysis, Change Management, and ITIL V3 etc.
• Strong database management skills including backup and recovery best practices in a high-availability environment. 
• Database performance tuning & Poor Query improvement using SQLT, AWR Analysis, Plan flip troubleshooting
• Knowledge and practical experience with: AIX ,Proficient Shell scripting ,AWK , Python , Java skills ,Oracle RAC & Data guard ,MS SQL server Cluster Installation & Debugging, Sybase , Hadoop , Mongo, Comfortable in embracing AI
