Contract Manager
Job Description
The scope of services includes Project Management Consultancy works for IOCL Project, based at Faridabad, Haryana, India. Role extensively involves supporting client in review and supervision works.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts for EPC contracts , construction contracts and procurement agreements.
- Ensure contracts comply with IOCL standards, GCC/SCC, and statutory regulations.
- Interpret contractual clauses and advise project teams.
- Handle contractor claims, variation orders, and extension of time (EOT) requests
- Support arbitration, dispute resolution, and legal proceedings if required.
- Maintain records for contractual claims defense.
- Monitor project cost commitments and payment milestones.
- Assess commercial implications of design or schedule changes.
- Track contractor performance against contractual obligations.
- Highlight risks, delays, and cost overruns to management.
- Prepare MIS reports, commercial dashboards, and status updates.
- Attend project review and progress meetings.
- Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Overall minimum 10-15 years’ experience with infrastructure projects
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a leadership role
