- Act as first-line technical owner for applications running across multiple regional locations
- Perform deep service-level diagnostics when application issues arise using observability tooling (Grafana, Loki, Mimir, metrics, logs, traces)
- Work with databases and messaging bus technologies to identify service-level issues
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration.
- Operate and support workloads running on Azure-based Kubernetes platforms
- Understand Kubernetes pod lifecycle, networking, storage, scaling, and failure scenarios
- Collaborate with platform teams on cluster-level issues and application teams on service-level issues
- Reporting new bugs/issues back to product/platform teams when the problem cannot be solved through extended diagnostics
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Work Experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a SRE role or similar.
Strong Knowledge & hands-on experience with below key technologies:
- Containerization platforms (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure)
- Databases and messaging bus (MongoDB, MSSQ, pSQL, Kafka)
- Templating concepts and GitOps frameworks (i.e Helm, Kustomize)
- Version control and CI/CD systems (e.g., Git, Azure Devops, ArgoCD)
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform)
AZ-104 – Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, CKA – Certified Kubernetes Administrator or equivalent experience
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Proactive attitude and high degree of independence.
