Job Description
What you’ll do
Are you energized by the most consequential technology questions facing global businesses? At AlixPartners, your work supports the senior practitioners who sit shoulder-to-shoulder with C-Level executives on the issues at the top of their agendas. You will be a core member of integrated, senior teams: bringing analytic horsepower, original thinking, and polished deliverables to high-stakes client engagements, while also helping us codify our IP into reusable products and tools. We are not looking for a delivery executor. We are looking for an advisor and a builder who develops alongside the team in the US and EMEA, helping shape what the practice does and how it scales.
In this role, you will…
- Partner with senior Technology practitioners in the US and EMEA to deliver complex engagements across IT/Technology Due Diligence, Post-Merger Integration, Product & Engineering Optimization, Tech Cost Rationalization, Technology Operating Models, ERP Strategy, Cloud Strategy, and Applied AI.
- Structure ambiguous problems, convert client and market data into clear hypotheses, and brief senior executives on the answer.
- Build the analytics that prove or invalidate the hypotheses: financial models, spend waterfalls, benchmarks, target operating models, market sizing, and value cases.
- Produce client-ready documents and presentations where you take a point of view.
- Apply modern AI tools and product methods to accelerate and elevate client delivery — agentic research, model-assisted analysis, and AI-generated drafts sharpened by human judgment.
- Bring a product manager’s instinct to every problem: define the user, the outcome, the metrics, and the smallest version of the solution that proves value before scaling.
- Help codify the practice’s methodologies and recurring analyses into reusable internal products that any practitioner can deploy on day one of an engagement.
- Turn one-off analyses into repeatable assets, tribal knowledge into structured playbooks, and manual workflows into AI-assisted ones.
- Coach junior team members and raise the bar on quality, judgment, and pace.
- Collaborate across geographies and disciplines — including engineering, design, and business stakeholders — to land both client outcomes and internal-product outcomes.
What you’ll need
- 5–8+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience in technology strategy, digital transformation, or product roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus but not required.
- Track record of structuring ambiguous problems, driving an analytic point of view, and briefing senior executives on the answer.
- Demonstrated ability to lead workstreams independently and to mentor more junior team members.
- Hands-on exposure to any combination of: IT/Technology Due Diligence, Post-Merger Integration, IT Optimization and Cost Rationalization, Technology Operating Models, ERP Strategy, Cloud Strategy (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and Applied AI strategy for enterprise.
- Knowledge across any combination of industries: Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Private Equity, Retail, Hospitality, Automotive, Manufacturing, or Consumer Products.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel — able to build complex financial and operational analyses end-to-end.
- Working proficiency with at least one data tool: PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or equivalent.
- Hands-on familiarity with modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent) and a clear point of view on how to use them in real consulting work.
- Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint and the ability to produce executive-grade decks.
- Experience translating client or user needs into clear product or service requirements, even without a formal product title. Comfort with agile delivery practices is a plus.
- Bilingual: Spanish and English. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable presenting to and being challenged by senior executives.
- Desire to actively engage with geographically dispersed teams in the US and EMEA across time zones.
- Authorized to work in Argentina and travel internationally without restrictions or visa sponsorship.
- Ability to work full time in a hybrid office and remote environment.
- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
- Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday
- Must become familiar with, and promote and abide by, our Core Values as defined by the AlixPartners’ Code of Conduct and foster an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization
The firm offers market-leading benefits that provide flexible options to support our employee’s needs including health benefits to help prioritise their physical and emotional well-being, time-off policies to help to recharge and financial/ retirement benefits that offer income protection and support long-term planning.
The benefit type and level differ per location.
