Job Description:
Supports the inventory management function at a regional hospital, with the system strategy for maintaining appropriate supply, volumes and timeliness to meet clinical demand. Responsible for ordering, receiving, put-away, picking and delivering supplies to all patient areas/rooms. Directs and prioritizes work, issues resolution and serves as a subject matter expert. Works with clinical staff to ensure the correct supplies are available when needed to serve the patient’s needs.
Principle Responsibilities
- General Picking, Delivery and Stocking
- Picks, sorts, stocks, and delivers product
- Scan/hand counting and count cycle counting
- Monitors expirations and rotates product
- Sticker and label product
- Ship and receive product
- Kitting
- Cleans and organizes stocking locations
- Conducts Inventory Management
- Manage supply cart inventory
- Create and maintain supply par cart locations
- Managing product conversions
- Works with clinical staff on product stability, usage, new product introduction, and advancing operational strategy
- Pull reports out of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like Lawson/Infor, Workday, Peoplesoft, etc.
- when needed
◦ Completing inventory optimization related projects
- Sourcing and Ordering Supplies
- Coordinate analytics and demand planning
- Manage backorders
- Create requisitions, including placing rush orders
- Conduct vendor interactions
- Source and identify product and equivalent product
- Customer Service
- Daily interactions with clinical customers
- Trouble shooting for customer concerns
- Escalations/alerts to management
- Maintain service and quality levels
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to achieve inventory goals
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years working with an ERP inventory management system such as Workday or Infor
- 0 to 2 years of Supply Chain Management, clinical healthcare experience, or hospital operations
- Microsoft Office competency
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver’s license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment is required for employees working out of the Allina Commons and Emergency Medical Services

Pay Range
Pay Range: $21.14 to $32.13 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.Benefit Summary
