The Manager, Firefly is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned office(s), programs, and/or service regions. This leadership role ensures high-quality service delivery, performance management, fiscal oversight, and strong relationships with referral and funding sources. The Manager collaborates with senior leadership to plan, implement, and continuously improve services while maintaining a client-centered approach and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and inspire a team to deliver high-quality, person-centered services that support individuals in achieving employment and independence goals

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, employers, and community partners to expand opportunities and program growth

· Oversee program operations to ensure timely service delivery, achievement of performance benchmarks, and positive client outcomes

· Monitor and coach team performance through observation, feedback, and goal setting to drive productivity and service excellence

· Ensure compliance with CARF standards, confidentiality requirements, and organizational policies through ongoing quality assurance practices

· Review documentation, client records, and service plans for accuracy, completeness, and meaningful engagement

· Manage staffing needs including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations

· Track financial performance including revenue, expenses, billing, and reimbursement to ensure fiscal responsibility

· Support case management activities as needed, including maintaining a small caseload and assisting with service delivery

· Analyze program data and outcomes to identify improvements, maintain high placement and retention rates, and ensure client satisfaction

· Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to advocate for clients and promote service awareness

· Participate in strategic planning, program development, and identification of new funding opportunities

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human services, human resources, or a related field preferred

· Bachelor’s degree required for designated professional management responsibilities in applicable waiver services (relevant experience may substitute where applicable)

· Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience in employment services, social services, personnel management, or a related field preferred

· Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment, education, or independent living preferred

Additional Qualifications:

· Strong customer service, leadership, and interpersonal skills

· Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic data systems

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance required

· Successful completion of background checks including criminal, driving, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint screenings required

Physical Requirements

· Perform sedentary work, including sitting for extended periods with occasional standing or walking

· Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 10 pounds occasionally

· Use hands and fingers repetitively for typing, writing, and operating office equipment

· Maintain visual focus and manual dexterity for computer-based tasks throughout the workday
