The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Job Responsibilities:

Perform repairs to machinery and plant support systems with regards to hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical problems
Perform preventative maintenance (PM) schedules (as required) on machinery and Plant Support equipment
Suggest preventative measures to minimize or eliminate breakdowns
Maintain correct safety standards at all times
Complete all check sheets and records as it relates to the P.M. program, Work Orders, etc
Member of the Emergency Response Team
Capable of instructing maintenance personnel in trade related tasks and skills
Diagnose and repair basic electrical problems with equipment
Modify machinery and equipment and overhaul machines as directed
Install, set up, and commission new equipment
Must be aware of relevance and importance of their activities and how it effects quality and the environment for our customers

Qualifications:

Completion of specialized trade courses and/or apprenticeship/certification
Clear communication written and verbal skills.
Minimum Certified Tradesman (Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright)
Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency preferred
Minimum 5 years directly related trade experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Minimum 5 years experience in a Stamping environment
Must have an exceptional Safety Record
Familiar with the Safe Handling and Storage of compressed gases
Skilled in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Mechanics
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
Must be committed to work overtime during weekdays and weekends
Must be able to work independently without supervision
