HEAD LIFEGUARD - Summer - Nassau County
OVERVIEW
The Head Lifeguard ensures that each customer feels welcome, safe, and relaxed. You will oversee safe pool and aquatics operations at a luxury golf club. The role requires alertness, flexibility, focus, attention to detail, and professionalism, coupled with a positive, outgoing attitude!
A strong background in hospitality or customer service is ideal, as this position not only ensures safety but also creates a welcoming environment for residents and guests. The Head Lifeguard provides supervision to other lifeguards and takes responsibility for training, scheduling, and continuous coaching. Other duties such as pool cleaning, supplies inventory, and light maintenance are also essential.
Wage: $26-30 per hour, depending on experience.
Shifts: Wed & Thurs, 11:30-6:30. Fri/Sat/Sun 10-6:30

REQUIRED
- 3+ years work Experience Required - at least two years in Aquatics and at least one year supervisory in aquatics or hospitality/service industry
- Nassau Lifeguard Certification, unexpired
- CPR / First Aid / AED certification, received within the 12 months
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Welcome guests who come to use the pools and related amenities
- Supervise the pool and pool area and other Lifeguards at all times
- Take action to ensure pool rules are enforced
- Train, coach, and manage scheduling for Lifeguards
- Ensure cleanliness of pools and pool decks
- Ensure guests feel welcomed, safe, and relaxed at the aquatics amenities
