Position Summary
The Business Development Partner is responsible for driving revenue growth and supporting customer
success within an assigned territory by partnering closely with physicians and internal teams. This role
focuses on developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives, providing ongoing training, and
identifying opportunities to expand product adoption and consumable sales.

The ideal candidate combines strong business development skills with a consultative approach, helping
clients grow their practices through tailored marketing strategies, product education, and performance
analysis, while contributing to overall sales and product development efforts.

This is a fully remote with required travel and will report to the Strategic Initiative & Business
Development Manager.

In this role, you will:
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives for customers, including website/microsite development, SEO/PPC, branding, and promotional campaigns.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets within the assigned territory by identifying customer needs and driving product, consumable, and subscription sales.
  • Partner closely with Area Sales Managers and Product Managers to align on sales strategy and business growth opportunities.
  • Deliver ongoing client training on sales techniques, consultation best practices, phone skills, and goal setting.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews with physicians and staff to assess performance and implement growth strategies.
  • Educate customers on the full product portfolio, including Halo, diVa, and Moxi, to increase adoption and utilization.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform sales strategies and positioning.
  • Present to clients and lead training sessions both in person and virtually.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to provide market feedback and support product development initiatives.
  • Plan and implement strategies to increase customer engagement, retention, and overall sales performance.
  • Support cross-functional teams (sales, clinical, service, and support) throughout the customer lifecycle, pre- and post-sale.
  • Represent the company at industry events, including open houses, launch events, symposiums, and tradeshows.

  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage expenses and adhere to travel and entertainment (T&E) budgets.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or consumables-based selling.
  • Exposure to digital marketing strategies (SEO, PPC, etc.) is preferred.
Benefits/Compensation:
Salary is $70k plus commission. In addition, Sciton provides an opportunity to participate in equity/stock
incentive programs, a profit-sharing bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K with
matching.
