Summary/Objective: The Leader in Training Program allows Lippert Leadership to develop the skills of future leaders in all areas of the manufacturing environment

The Leader Trainee will gain exposure to the tools, thought processes, and support systems required to design and implement new strategies within Lippert

Curriculum utilized during the program will provide a roadmap that introduces each Leader Trainee to the infrastructure that Lippert strives for and has been built upon

Working Conditions: Primarily on the floor/in the work, could be exposed to elements (heat, snow, etc.) May sit or stand for several hours at a time

Repetitive use of hands to operate machinery. 1st shift schedule, with 2nd shift support

: Three to five years in a manufacturing environment, or technical or bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas is preferred: Manufacturing: Business Administration, Global Business Strategy, Leadership and Supervision, LEAN Manufacturing Supply Chain:Purchasing Supply Chain Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field of study Essential Functions: Master learning modules that build a foundation for leadership within Lippert, including: Accounting Engineering Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Innovation Inventory Control Leadership & Culture Lean Manufacturing Purchasing Quality Complete online eLearning and in-person courses to supplement day-to-day learnings and interactions Establish short-term and long-term program goals and expectations Develop relationships with various team members and leaders Innovation/Continuous improvement, Quality, Leadership and Culture, and Customer Service mindset Learn internal systems such as Microsoft D365, Tabware, Enovia, etc

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are decided by the hiring manager

Travel: Local travel is required for this position

Preferred Education and Experience: Three to five years in a manufacturing environment, or technical or bachelor’s degree in preferred area
