The Associate Director, Career Connections leads the strategy, development, and execution of alumni-focused career engagement initiatives for the Business School. This role is responsible for building and managing global alumni career networking opportunities, structured mentoring programs, and career treks that connect students with alumni to support career exploration, professional development, and post-graduate success.
This position will strengthen alumni ties, expand career-related alumni engagement, and ensure the school remains competitive with peer and aspirant institutions in alumni networking and mentoring offerings.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
- Designs, develops, and manages global alumni career engagement programs, including alumni networking initiatives, career treks (both in-person and virtual), and industry-specific engagement opportunities for students.
- Leads the creation and oversight of a formal, structured alumni mentoring program for the school, connecting students, both graduate and undergraduate, with alumni mentors to support career exploration, skill development, and professional growth.
- Partners with alumni, employers, faculty, and university stakeholders to expand alumni career connections, employment pipelines, internships, and experiential learning opportunities for students and graduates.
- Serves as the primary liaison between students and alumni on all career-related engagement initiatives, fostering meaningful, long-term relationships that enhance student outcomes and alumni involvement.
- Plans and delivers career programs, workshops, and networking events that leverage alumni expertise and industry experience, both domestically and internationally.
- Collaborates closely with Career Services staff to integrate alumni engagement into student career development programming, including career readiness, professional skills development, and job search strategies.
- Collects, analyzes, and reports data and outcomes related to alumni career engagement, mentoring participation, student satisfaction, and program effectiveness for ongoing assessment and annual reporting.
- Creates and contributes to marketing materials, handouts, digital content, and resources to promote alumni career engagement initiatives and communicate opportunities to students and alumni.
- Contributes to the long-range planning, strategy, and goals of Career Services and the Business School, ensuring alumni career engagement is embedded as a core component of student success.
- Establishes and continuously assesses internal controls and compliance with University policies and procedures related to alumni engagement activities, ensuring proper training and adherence within the function.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
