Systems Engineer (Wintel)

Based in our Mauritius Office, this role offers hands-on exposure to modern Microsoft infrastructure, virtualised environments, and cloud technologies used across critical datacentre and remote sites. As an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer, you’ll own the full lifecycle of hosting infrastructure from deployment to optimisation. You will be playing a key role in keeping services secure, resilient, and always available. You’ll work within ITIL best-practice frameworks, collaborate with skilled technical teams, and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives. What You’ll Do: Support Windows Server and virtualised environments (VMware / Hyper‑V) Manage Active Directory & Azure AD (DNS, DHCP, GPO) Support Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, Teams & SharePoint Maintain infrastructure, storage (SAN/NAS), and PKI/CA services Resolve incidents & service requests via the Service Desk (ITIL-based) Perform proactive maintenance, system tuning & documentation Collaborate with technical teams & third‑party suppliers Take part in an on‑call rotation   What's needed for success - Experience and Qualifications: Strong experience with Windows ServerVirtualisation experience (VMware or Hyper‑V) Solid knowledge of AD, Exchange, and O365Experience with PKI / Certificate Authority Understanding of SAN & NAS storage Structured, process‑driven approach (ITIL)
