Job Description
Find your purpose as a Maintenance Electronics Technician at CentraCare. The Maintenance Electronics Technician performs duties related to preventative maintenance and repair of non-clinical electronic equipment and systems. Duties may also include involvement in construction or renovation projects.
Schedule:
- Full-time 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Mon-Fri 7a-3:30p
- Occasional need for off hours; May be assigned to shift work for 24-hour coverage of maintenance needs.
Pay and Benefits:
- This is a union position paying $38.06 per hour.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
- Technical knowledge/experience in electronic systems and equipment required.
- Technical or trade school preferred.
- Must have good written and verbal skills
- A valid Minnesota Class D driver’s license.
Core Functions:
- Preventive maintenance, inspect, test and repair equipment.
- Calibrate/adjust equipment as necessary.
- Repair or replace defective parts.
- Lubricate and clean equipment.
- Install and test new equipment and systems.
- Provide data needed for ordering parts.
- Maintain pertinent documentation.
- Provide guidance on integrating systems for access control, nurse call, etc.
