Job Description:

About the Role:

The Batcher Operator position is responsible for measuring, weighing, and preparing materials and ingredients according to recipe cards to support the batching and blending process. You will add value by doing the following, but not limited:

• Measuring and weighing materials and ingredients according to recipe cards.
• Recording lot numbers for all materials used in the batching process.
• Measuring weights, tagging, and staging ingredients for blending equipment.
• Operating equipment including bins, blenders, PLC-controlled agitation and transfer systems, blanchers, and soakers.
• Ensuring consistent and accurate measurement and blending to support continuous product supply to filling equipment.
• Performing sanitation, sanitary maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
• Demonstrating quick thinking and remaining responsive to surroundings, production requirements, and operational conditions.

Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on the night shift, which operates from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am rotating schedule. The hourly rate for the role starts at $28.89/hr.

About You:

You’ll fit right in if you have:

• Post-secondary or equivalent experience required
• 3-5 years manufacturing related experience
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices
• Fluency in English both oral and written
