About the Role

As the Europe HR Manager you will be playing a pivotal role in driving strategic HR initiatives across European region. Acting as a strategic partner to regional and local leadership, you will ensure that HR frameworks, policies, and initiatives are aligned with the company’s mission, values, and long-term business objectives.

This role focuses on strategic HR leadership, governance, and oversight, ensuring consistency of people practices across countries while fully respecting local labor regulations and market specifics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an advisor to leadership across European regions on people-related topics, including organizational design, performance management, engagement, and workforce planning.
  • Provide guidance and direction on complex employee relations topics, performance matters, and organizational challenges.
  • Oversee talent development programs and support employee growth and leadership development.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits frameworks, ensuring alignment with regional guidelines and local market practices.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and employment regulations in Serbia and Spain through governance, policy definition, and oversight.
  • Act as the escalation point for compliance-related matters and employment risk mitigation.
  • Develop partnerships with universities to create talent pipelines and internship programs. Participate in university career fairs and events to promote Centific as an employer of choice.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the company's employer brand in the European market.
  • Define standards for the employee lifecycle and employee experience, ensuring a consistent and positive approach across countries.
  • Oversee the effective use of HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) to support people strategy, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Analyze HR data and KPIs (e.g., headcount, turnover, engagement, performance trends) to assess impact and guide leadership decisions.
  • Prepare and present HR insights and reports to regional and global stakeholders.
  • Partner with leadership and hiring managers on workforce planning and headcount strategy across assigned locations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, including experience in a regional or multi-country HR role, preferably within a multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of Spanish labor law and experience working with similar European jurisdictions.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and HR tools (e.g., Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence and resilience.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required; fluency in Serbian is a strong advantage.
  • Experience leading regional HR initiatives such as talent development, employer branding, D&I, wellbeing, or leadership programs.
  • Experienced in mediation conflict management and resolution.
  • A passion for continuous learning and professional development, both personally and within the organization.
