Job Description
Provides technical guidance for engineering design, analysis and recommendations on strategic investment in equipment, technology, and initiatives to optimize asset value Develop the asset strategy, identifying asset criticality to the business, setting service strategy based on performance required, and driving reliability and cost-effective lifecycle management. Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs and provide guidance on-site to maintenance planning and execution team Undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering required. Professional Engineering Designation (P.Eng.) is an asset. Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) and/or Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) certification is preferred. 5+ years of maintenance, reliability and/or engineering experience Experience with equipment maintenance execution and work management processes in mineral processing plants is preferred Strong experience with Failure Investigations, development and implementation of effective solutions to reduce looses Experience with inspection of installation, modification and commissioning of infrastructure and equipment Experience in conducting research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems Experience with FMEA,RCM and managing metrics such as Availability, Utilization, Productivity (OEE), MTBF and MTTR Software skills in of MS Office products and CMMS systems (SAP). Strong analytical, planning, organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
