Our Bath Road Service is a CQC‑registered residential home providing long‑term accommodation for up to 10 people with severe and enduring mental health needs. We support individuals with daily living skills, personal care, financial management and rehabilitation, while encouraging active engagement within the local community.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead the service and ensure the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care.
How you will make a difference as a Registered Manager:
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and organisational policies while leading, motivating and developing your staff team.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, personalised services through assessment, person‑centred planning and regular outcome‑focused reviews
Develop and maintain high‑quality, aspirational support plans
Implement safe systems of work, including personal safety and lone‑working procedures
Ensure accurate and high‑quality recording on the Rethink Information System, supporting staff in its effective use
Manage incidents, accidents and complaints in line with policies and regulatory requirements
Act as the service Safeguarding Lead, maintaining strong professional relationships with safeguarding partners
Provide effective line management, including supervision, performance, conduct and attendance management
Recruit and retain a skilled workforce in line with safer recruitment practices and Equality legislation
Essential Skills and Experience:
Achieved or working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Experience in an operational management role within health or social care
Strong knowledge of CQC standards, legal responsibilities and person‑centred care
Proven experience supervising, leading and managing staff
Direct experience supporting people with severe and enduring mental illness
Experience working with statutory agencies and external professionals
